//Process

Five stages. One continuous loop.

The worst thing a software project can be is a surprise. So we work in short loops, show you working software every week, and tell you early when something is harder than we thought.

//The loop

From first call to the months after launch.

Each stage has a clear output, so you always know what you're paying for and what comes next. The timings are typical, not promises. We'll give you real ones after discovery.

  1. 01

    Discovery

    1–3 weeks

    We talk to the people who own the problem and the people who live with it. We map the process, the systems and the constraints, and measure how things run today so we have a baseline to beat.

    You get
    • Process and systems map
    • Baseline numbers
    • Risks and unknowns, written down
    • A costed, ranked plan
  2. 02

    Design

    1–2 weeks

    We design the flows that matter and prototype the risky parts first, like a confusing screen, a tricky integration or an AI step we're not sure about. Cheap to change now, expensive later.

    You get
    • Clickable prototype
    • Architecture outline
    • Scope for the first release
    • Agreed definition of done
  3. 03

    Build

    Weekly loops

    Short iterations with a demo every week on a real URL. You see progress, give feedback, and re-prioritise as you learn. Tests and security checks run on every change.

    You get
    • Working software every week
    • A short written update
    • Open backlog you can see
    • Code in your repository
  4. 04

    Launch

    Go-live

    Release pipelines, monitoring, backups, analytics and a go-live checklist, handled before real users arrive. We launch small when we can, and widen once things look right.

    You get
    • Go-live checklist
    • Monitoring and alerts
    • Rollback plan
    • Runbooks and docs
  5. 05

    Support & improve

    Ongoing

    We measure against the baseline from discovery, fix what users trip over, and either keep improving the product with you or hand it over cleanly to your team.

    You get
    • Before/after measurement
    • Improvement backlog
    • Support or handover
    • Training for your team

//Every week

How we keep you in the loop.

Four simple habits that make a project impossible to lose track of.

Weekly demo, 30 minutes

We show working software, not slides. You click it yourself. Then we agree what's next.

Written Friday update

What shipped, what's next, what's blocked, and any risk we see coming. Five minutes to read.

Shared channel

Slack, Teams or email. You talk to the engineers doing the work, not a go-between.

Open backlog

You can see every task, estimate and priority at any time. Nothing hidden.

//Your side

What we need from you.

Good projects are a partnership. This is the short list that makes the biggest difference to speed and quality.

  • 01One decision-maker who can say yes or no within a few days.
  • 02Access to the people who do the work today, not just their managers.
  • 03Access to the systems, data samples and documents we need, on your terms.
  • 04Thirty minutes a week for the demo. It's the most important meeting of the project.
//Ways to work with us

Three ways to start. One honest quote.

Start where the risk is, and switch as the work changes. Whichever you pick, you get a written, fixed quote before any build begins.

Discovery sprint

When you're not sure what to build yet, or whether to build at all.

A short, focused engagement to map the process, find the automation and modernization wins, test the riskiest idea, and leave you with a plan you can take anywhere.

  • Process and systems map
  • AI opportunity assessment
  • Prototype of the riskiest part
  • Costed, prioritised roadmap

Fixed fee, fixed length

//FAQ

Questions, answered straight.

How much does a project cost?

It depends on scope, the systems involved and any compliance needs. You always get a written, fixed quote before any build starts. If the scope isn't clear enough to price honestly, we suggest a short discovery sprint first, which ends with a costed plan you can take anywhere.

Why weekly demos instead of monthly milestones?

Because a month is too long to be wrong. Weekly demos catch misunderstandings while they're cheap to fix and keep scope honest for both of us.

What happens if something takes longer than planned?

You hear it from us first, as soon as we see it, with options: cut scope, move the date, or add capacity. No surprises at the end.

Do you use Scrum?

We borrow what's useful, like short iterations, a visible backlog and regular demos, and skip ceremony that doesn't help a small team ship.

Can our own developers work alongside you?

Yes. We often pair with in-house teams, work in your tools and follow your code review rules.
