//Mobile App Development

Mobile app development that works in the field, not just the demo.

Your customers, drivers or clinicians live on their phones, often on a bad connection. We build iOS and Android apps from one codebase that are fast, work offline when they need to, and don't need two separate teams to maintain.

//The problem

The problem you're living with.

Mobile is where a lot of good software goes to die. It looks simple and then the app stores, the devices and the network all get a vote.

  • You're paying for two apps, iOS and Android, that drift further apart every release.
  • Your field team's app freezes the moment they lose signal.
  • App store reviews are full of crashes you can't reproduce.
  • Every release is a stressful, manual process that only one developer knows how to do.
What it really costs

A bad app doesn't just annoy people. Field teams go back to paper, customers leave one-star reviews, and your brand takes the hit in public.

//Our fix

What we build.

iOS and Android apps from one codebase that feel native and survive a bad signal.

01

Cross-platform apps

React Native or Flutter apps that share most of their code across iOS and Android and still feel native.

02

Offline-first field apps

Apps that keep working without signal, queue the work, and sync safely when the connection comes back.

03

Customer apps

Booking, ordering, account and loyalty apps with the polish customers expect from the apps they use every day.

04

Device features

Camera and document scanning, barcode and QR, GPS tracking, push notifications, biometrics and payments.

05

Release pipelines

Automated builds, testing on real devices, beta channels and store submissions, so releases are routine.

06

Crash and performance monitoring

Know about crashes and slow screens before the reviews do, with enough detail to fix them.

//How it works

How it works, step by step.

No big bang. Small, measured steps with a working demo every week.

  1. 01
    01

    Define the core journey

    The two or three things users must be able to do, and the conditions they'll do them in, like gloves, sunlight or a basement with no signal.

  2. 02
    02

    Prototype on real devices

    Clickable designs tested on actual phones with actual users, not just on a big monitor.

  3. 03
    03

    Build with weekly test builds

    A fresh build on your phone every week through TestFlight and internal testing tracks.

  4. 04
    04

    Harden for the real world

    Offline cases, slow networks, old devices and accessibility settings, tested on purpose.

  5. 05
    05

    Ship and support

    Store submissions, staged roll-outs, monitoring and a plan for OS updates every year.

//The outcome

What changes for your team.

What we aim for, measured against how things run today. We don't promise numbers before we've seen your baseline.

One codebase, one team

Features ship to iOS and Android together.

Work doesn't stop at a dead zone

Offline mode means field teams finish the job and sync later.

Calm release days

Automated pipelines replace the manual release ritual.

Better reviews

Fewer crashes, faster screens, and issues fixed before users report them.

What we'd tell a friend

What we'd tell a friend about mobile app development

Ask yourself if it really needs to be an app. A fast mobile web app is cheaper, easier to update and has no store review. Build a native app when you need the camera, offline mode, push notifications or a spot on the home screen.

What we won't do

What we won't do

  • Build two separate native apps when one cross-platform app will do the job.
  • Ship without crash reporting and a way to roll back.
  • Publish under our developer account instead of yours.
//FAQ

Mobile Apps: your questions.

React Native or Flutter?

Both are good. React Native is a great fit if you have web developers or a React web app already. Flutter is excellent for highly custom interfaces. We'll recommend one based on your team and product, not our preference.

When do we need fully native code?

For heavy graphics, some hardware integrations or very platform-specific features. Most business apps don't need it, and cross-platform apps can still include native modules where needed.

Can the app work offline?

Yes. We design offline-first when the use case needs it: data is stored on the device, changes are queued, and conflicts are resolved safely when the device syncs.

Do you handle App Store and Google Play submission?

Yes, under your own developer accounts, including store listings, privacy labels and review responses.

What about maintenance after launch?

Apple and Google change things every year. We offer ongoing support for OS updates, dependency upgrades and new features, or a clean handover to your team.
